Bob's Burgers Wax Pack

I have some packs in my collection that are virtually worthless - packs made today to LOOK like older packs. I just like the aesthetic of them (and yes, I store them separately from my "legit" packs). One of those packs is Bob's Burgers. I've been seeing them pop up on eBay for $25, $40, $45, $50, $60, $250, even $750 (down from $1,500.. by Grabthar's Hammer... what a savings)! If you are at all interested in owning one of these packs, just do what I did: spend a whopping 8 bucks on the double CD (has to be the Target exclusive version). It comes free inside.

It's only worth that if somebody is willing to pay that much! (definitely not me)

Rare Pick-up! Giant Plaks.

I just added this pack to my collection! I've never seen one before. Very happy!

Issued by Topps in 1968, there are two versions of this pack - a 5 cent with one Plak and this one - a 10 cent version with two Plaks.

They were issued in crimped plastic bag type wrappers.

Thats a rare one, wow!

PSA gets it wrong!

Currently there is an eBay auction for a PSA graded Popeye Tattoo bubble gum pack that PSA has labeled as the 1956-58 issue.

The reverse of the pack is shown below and the arrow points to the zip code in the address.

The problem with this is that zip codes were not introduced until July 1, 1963 so if an address has one, it was necessarily produced after that date. In this case, this is clearly the 1966 re-issue for this title not the mid 1950 version! Oops!
