Dear New Members (and old members too),
Over the past few months, we have been trying to sort card packs into groupings of relative scarcity ranging from common to ultra rare. Now is a good time for us to pause and review how we've done so far.
You can view the choices so far by reviewing the drop down menus under the Scarcity heading above.
Are we on the right track? What do you think? Do you disagree with any of our picks? Remember, this is based on relative availability and not necessarily price (although the two can be related)!
Let's have an argument!
One thing I might suggest, is putting numbers on levels. Back when I used to collect comic books (decades ago) the Overstreet guide defined scarcity levels... if I remember rightly, Rare was less than 20 known copies (don’t quote me on the numbers!), scarce was less than 100 copies, etc. Defining the levels takes some of the guesswork out of the equation.
